Salma Okonkwo - CEO
Salma Okonkwo leads Blue Power energy, driving the company’s commitment to creating a sustainable energy future for Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa. She is a senior business executive with over twenty years of management experience in corporate strategy, planning and business development, with deep knowledge of the downstream oil and gas sector in West Africa’s key markets.
Salma brings proven strategic, innovative and leadership skills to Blue Power. At the helm of affairs at UBI Group, Salma’s vision positioned the organisation to become the most sought strategic partner for the growing oil and gas downstream industry in Ghana.
Salma’s twenty years’ experience building leading organizations across West Africa demonstrates her drive as an excellent entrepreneur. She is the Founder & Chairwoman of Puma Energy Ghana one of Ghana’s leading downstream oil and gas companies. She is also Founder and Board Member of Blue Star Exploration, an indigenous Oil and Gas exploration company with assets across West Africa.
Salma has received several awards’, the most recent being the coveted Woman of Excellence award. She is the 2019 Nigerian Energy Personality of the Year
An advocate for women’s empowerment and issues impacting children in Ghana, Salma is a devoted mother of three and wife, dividing her time between Nigeria where her family lives, and Ghana, where she has multiple business interests.
Noah Otuteye - BSc, FCCA, MBA
Noah Otuteye leads finance and accounting at Blue Power. Trained at Ernst and Young, a global firm of Chartered Accountants, he has fifteen years of extensive experience in accounting and has worked in various institutions across industries such as banking, telecommunications, real estate. Noah has also audited the financial statements and the internal control systems of clients in various industries including health care, automobile, nonprofits and manufacturing.
In his role as CFO of Blue Power Energy, Noah leads strategic management of accounting and finance functions; directs accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. In addition, he oversees audits and technology decisions related to financial systems implementations and upgrades. Noah manages relationships with investors, identifies business risks, trains and retains accounting and finance staff.
Godwin Nana Konduah Dickye
Godwin Nana Konduah Dickye manages projects and oversees constructions at Blue Power. He has spent over ten years overseeing all phases of infrastructure construction for both public and private-sector clients. His experience covers managing crews of up to hundred in fuel terminals, pipelines, high-rise residential buildings and a variety of construction/demolitions projects in Ghana and Nigeria. He has mastery of safety quality control, supervision of teams and subcontractors, creating thorough project plans, and reports.
Nana also serves as the Managing Director of Nahid’s Properties, managing the company’s premium real estate developments across Ghana. Nana also consulted with TLD Global Services on a number of projects including feasibility studies for the construction of a 20MW Solar PV plant for Canaan Bulk Terminal in Nigeria.
Nana has been a member of the Rotary Club of Sekondi-Takoradi since 2006, and is a past President of the Club.
